His father, Peter, was a well-respected Quad Cities’ lawyer and his two brothers are also accomplished attorneys. Steve never considered any other field. “I was a finance major and after graduation, I went right to law school. I never thought of anything else.” After graduation, Steve joined his father's firm where he practiced for over 25 years until shortly after his father's retirement in 2012.
